Meme from should be reading.

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently reading: Chuck Wendig's Blackbirds, but it isn't really grabbing me.

Just finished: Sharon Shinn's Archangel. It was a bookclub pick, otherwise I can't imagine ever choosing it. It's the first in a series which I will not pursue, although I didn't actually hate it.

Next in line: N.K Jemisin's The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms. Another bookclub pick.

  1. Currently reading: Sam Harris' The Moral Landscape. I'm liking it a lot, but as I always do with non-fiction, I'm reading it slowly.
Just finished: Sophie Kinsella's I've Got Your Number. I liked it a lot, it was just a fun read.
Next in line: Zadie Smith's On Beauty. I started it like three months ago. I've liked the book so far.

  2. I didn't realise you had a reading one too!!
I'm currently reading The Gospel of Loki by Joanne Harris which is OK but getting a tad repetitive. Just finished reading one of the Sue Graftons - 'M is for Murder' - which a friend passed on to me . Next in line Peaches for Monsieur le Cure, also by Joanne Harris which I intended to read when I came upon the other one.

I read the Sharon Shinn books a few years ago and I agree - not bad but kind of 'meh' if you know what I mean. Very samey and pretty predictable but not bad as a brainless read.
